Restaurant Akropolis in Lingenfeld

The Acropolis in Lingenfeld has been our favorite Greek for years. Unfortunately, the V blogged us for the last year. Neither the ambience, nor the friendliness and attention of the staff, we had anything to complain about during that time. And the food was always excellent, not just in the abundant quantity, but also in taste and price. And the access is much easier than with some other, somewhat remote restaurants, the parking space is very large. Great atmosphere to slow down. The beautiful outdoor terrace invites you to relax in summer. We love to come, even if you have to go up a flight of stairs due to the construction. And until then we can just pick it up. Thanks to the crew, nice that you are here and that you hold the line until everything is ok again. Everything good for you,

It tastes good, it is also very neat and clean, good ambience, but unfortunately the employees sometimes pull you away as a customer, especially when they are celebrating a big party there.

I was there on September 15th, 2020 and the food and the atmosphere were great. Large and very tasty dishes. Lots of choice and no long waiting times. I was there around 6:30 pm and it was very well attended. Lots of places both indoors and outdoors. If you like a lot of tasty meat, you should buy it here. I will definitely come back.

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately there is no longer a lunch menu, but the prices are okay. There are cheap dishes and higher priced ones, so there is something for everyone. The portions are big so you won't go hungry. The choice is huge. Unfortunately, completely unsuitable for disabled people and wheelchair users, as there are many stairs to climb to the restaurant on the first floor. The toilets are clean

Food was good, the location is clean and nicely decorated. Parking spaces are also available. The overall package could not bring me to 5 stars, everything is good but nothing stands out particularly.

Very large, nice restaurant. The background noise is a bit high, because it is big and many people fit in, but personally I don't mind. Just wanted to mention it. The food is delicious and the portions generous. Price-performance ratio is top.

The restaurant Akropolis in Lingenfeld is quite remote. You have to cross several speed bumps and the way there is quite bumpy. For lowered vehicles truly no pleasure. We went to eat here with the sister-in-law and mother-in-law. The two were here last year schonmal and we decided so also once to come here and something to eat. From outside the restaurant makes a good impression. A staircase leads to the front door. You enter a large vestibule where the toilets are on the left. The actual restaurant is again delimited by a large door. On the evening about two weeks ago when we were there was a lot going on and fortunately we had reserved. There are really many places, some tables, chairs and benches in light wood look in the entire local. To the right of the entrance is a bar with some bar stools. Here are also the operations on. We were brought directly to a table near the front entrance and made ourselves comfortable. After we had taken a seat the menus were served directly and we were already able to order drinks. These came already after a few minutes and shortly afterwards we could give up our food order. I chose the Gyros Special with Metaxasoße and cheese, Tsatziki, Side salad, French fries and rice, my friend took the Apolloteller with Tsatziki, side salad, fries and rice. As a starter we ordered together the grilled hot peppers. Shortly thereafter we got an ouzo in advance. So far I have not known that, in other Greek restaurants there was always this only after the meal. After about half an hour then came our grilled hot peppers. From the amount rather little, garlic was just some sauce poured over it. The taste was okay. Ten minutes later, the side salad finally arrived. These too were rather small in quantity. The dressing tasted more like a ready mix. After another 15 minutes we got the main courses. The amount of rice that was there was really a joke. That was maybe a spoonful and nothing more. You could have omitted that altogether. Fries were plentiful. The amount of gyros was ok too. This has tasted okay. In some places it was a bit wobbly and rather greasy. The Apolloteller of my friend tasted alright. That was nothing outstanding. We have eaten better Greek dishes. Finally, there was a kiwi snack. Since we still had to drive about 60km home we wanted to leave soon, because the next day was Monday and thus work was back on the program. Until you finally packed our leftovers so we can take them back took another 20 minutes. The card reader for the EC card finally hung up as well, which is why we then scraped together our cash and finally paid cash. Should we eat here again and have the whole thing improved, I am willing to correct my rating again. However, I do not think that we will come here again in the near future. There are, as already said, definitely better places.

Fantastic Greek restaurant on the outskirts of Lingenfeld. Good selection of Greek delicacies with beautiful indoor and outdoor setting, absolutely recommendable.

Big portions and cheap

Always good food and fast service with pleasant atmosphere. Only down side is in the summer, as there was no air conditioning. It's better to sit outside on the terrace but it gets pretty busy.
